Description

Decorum Rugs Collection

Persian Bakhtiari village rugs and carpets are one of the few types and styles of antique rugs that can include nomadic tribal as well as urban/ village antique Persian rug designs. They can be sophisticated medallion, all over floral, garden panel designs of classical Persian pieces or iconic abstract symbols of animal designs or geometric. Usually these two styles are not mixed in a single rug. The Bakhtiari weavers are also renowned for their ability to produce rugs and carpets with balanced, synergistic colors with vitality and boldness.

The wool quality and rich color of the Bakhtiari rug are also notable. Please notice the stylized dragons in the border of this Bakhtiari as they traverse around the rug.
The weaver executes her sophisticated composition with precise design, articulation with attention to balance, color and symmetry.

Absolutely perfect!!!
