Remarks:
Beautiful Tribal Poshti (Small Rug) from mountainous region in the Kurdish part of north western Persia. Mountain wool is known for its long staple and resilience strength, and shine. Only natural dyes on hand dyed, hand spun wool.
Output is quite small and rugs are often produced in designs of the Shah Savah with a Caucasian flavor.Camel figures are often seen in many tribal pieces and used distinctively in this piece on a white background.
