1930’s old handknotted rug with Persian Mahal, Tabriz design with soft, vegetable colors, nice pile and beautiful greens, pumpkin, rust orange, blues and a balanced large harshang floral design. In the 1930’s – 1940’s, many Persian designs were woven in India by master Indian weavers, some of whom relocated to the Kerman region and wove rugs.
This an exceptional old rug with all natural dyes and fully intact.
