1920’s – 1930’s Persian Lillihan (D0159)
Condition: Very Good Condition with original sides and intact fringes.
Material: Wool on Cotton foundation with good wool and dyes.
Remarks: Made during the Roaring 20’s era, Lillihan rugs are noted for their finess of weave, large floral, dramatic arabesque displays, good wool, and dyes. Like the Sarouks of their era, they were ‘painted’ for the American market which preferred the deaper reds to the cheery reds in which they were originally woven.
All of our rugs have been professionally cleaned.
