Remarks: Made by the Shuster Arab tribe in Southwest Persia. This an unusual ekven piece which combines both Soumak and kilim flat weave woven like an open bagface that has not been cut. Perhaps the weaver meant to have the piece set up to remain as a runner and not a double bagface.
