Tribal piece, nice wool on wool 3′ by 5′ size, orange and brown reds typically associated with these rugs, Mihrab motifs and repeating floral displays identify this rug as Turkish—perhaps from the Kars region. Shiny wool with blanket feel (handle). Very cheery rug—all hand knotted enjoy!
