D0277: Northwest  Persian Tribal  Runner…

Dim: 49″ x 157″

Remarks:  This wool on wool handknotted runner made in Northwest Persia  has all the tribal elements including images of camels, geomorphic symbols, tiny people, dogs, bird like animals.   Repeated medallions are all slightly different showing that the weaver’s creativity and skill are demonstrated in this piece. Not an antique but a true village rug handknotted by a weaver which reflects her own creativity and interpretation of the design.
