Vintage Persian Engelis (Ingelis) 55″x92″, Beautiful condition with full pile and crisp clean colors. Wool on cotton foundation. This rug was woven using the same traditional design, weave, dyes used by the village weavers 150 years ago.

Beautiful 19th cen. (ca. 1890) Malayer runner with a Bakshaish border and a herati (fish and garden) design in the field. This beautiful antique rug is all wool with all natural, deep-saturated dyes. It is in very good condition and will look wonderful in a hall, a kitchen (as shown), or alongside a main rug (in the Persian manner).

Condition: Excellent with thick even pile overall. There is no color fading with good crisp colors.
Remarks: This runner was made in Northwest Persia. The primary design is repeating Farang Gul and
Herati Fish symbols with an Indigo background.
